Schlegel Golf Course Design Hired at Elmhurst

Elmhurst Country Club in Scranton, PA has just completed the successful hosting of the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic on the Nationwide Tour.  The tournament ended with an exciting, record setting, nine hole, sudden death playoff before a winner was determined.

Immediately after the tournament, Schlegel was retained to provide construction documents for the reconstruction of the Club's first hole.  The work will address all elements of the hole and will focus on correcting existing design, stylistic, and agronomic deficiencies at the green complex.
