At the recent meeting of the Executive Committee of the American
Society of Golf Course Architects, Dan Schlegel was nominated to become a
member of the Society's Board of Governors.
Starting at the 2009 Annual Meeting, to be held in Seattle in May, he will begin serving a three
year term. Upon receiving notice of the
nomination Dan stated "I consider it an honor to be able to serve our great
organization".
Also scheduled during the Annual Meeting will be tours
around some of the most exciting, recently built courses in the western United States including all the courses at
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and Chambers
Bay. Sahalee Country Club, host of the 1998 PGA Championship,
will also be reviewed during this meeting.
